Sta je Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing je online kanal za oglasavanje gde
oglasivaci-advertisers (online trgovci koji prodaju proizvode ili
usluge) placaju objavljivacu-publisheru (nezavisna zainteresovana
strana koja promovise njihove proizvode ili usluge na svom web sajtu)
samo za rezultate. Sto znaci ako posetilac koji je dosao sa vaseg sajta
kupi proizvod (Pay-per-sale) ili se registruje na sajtu oglasivaca
(pay-per-lead) vi cete dobiti dogovorenu proviziju ili unapred
dogovoren fiksni iznos. Razmislite samo u koliko prednosti ima
affiliate marketing od bilo kog drugog biznisa. Vi ste samo posrednik i
nikad necete morati da brinete o tome da li ce roba zavrsiti na pravom
mestu, koliki su troskovi slanja ili skladistenja robe. I sto je
najveca prednost affiliate marketinga je da vi ne trosite nikakva
novcana sredstva za nabavku proizvoda...
Dakle oglasivac (advertiser) snosi svu odgovornost i placa vas samo za
posetioce koji zapravo kupe proizvod. Cak i ukoliko posetilac koji
dolazi sa vaseg sajta na sajt oglasivaca ne kupi nista u datom trenutku
ali se posle odredjenog vremena vrati na sajt oglasivaca i kupi nesto
vicete biti placeni za tog posetioca. Tako funkcionise affiliate
marketing.
Detaljnije objasnjenje: kada posetilac klikne na reklamu na vasem sajtu
na njegov browser se kaci cookie koji obavestava oglasivaca
(advertiser-a) da je potencijalni kupac dosao sa vase adrese. Svaki
oglasivac vam daje odredjeni vremenski period tj. trajanje cookie-a
(cookie duration). Ukoliko u tom periodu od recimo 90 dana (najcesce je
duze) od dana kada je posetilac kliknuo na reklamu na vasem sajtu, kupi
proizvod sa sajta oglasivaca vi cete biti placeni jer ste verovatno vi
uticali na njegovu odluku izvrsi kupovinu.

What is affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards
one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by
the affiliate's own marketing efforts. Examples include rewards sites,
where users are rewarded with cash or gifts, for the completion of an
offer, and the referral of others to the site. The industry has four
core players: the merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the
network, the publisher (also known as 'the affiliate'), and the
customer. The market has grown in complexity to warrant a secondary
tier of players, including affiliate management agencies,
super-affiliates and specialized third parties vendors.
Affiliate marketing overlaps with other Internet marketing methods to
some degree, because affiliates often use regular advertising methods.
Those methods include organic search engine optimization, paid search
engine marketing, e-mail marketing, and in some sense display
advertising. On the other hand, affiliates sometimes use less orthodox
techniques, such as publishing reviews of products or services offered
by a partner.
Affiliate marketing—using one website to drive traffic to another—is a
form of online marketing, which is frequently overlooked by
advertisers. While search engines, e-mail, and website syndication
capture much of the attention of online retailers, affiliate marketing
carries a much lower profile. Still, affiliates continue to play a
significant role in e-retailers' marketing strategies.
